Re: 'Comprehensive Transformation' of terminal

There are certainly parts of the terminal that could be improved or tarted up, but the reality is that there is already millions of pax worth of spare capacity in the terminal and on the airfield too. On top of that, although traditional airlines and long haul airlines present some opportunities, m...

Interestingly N8621A is in Saudi Aramco colours as they have had a rebranding going on for a while (new name Aloula Aviation) and another ex SWA 737 (N8622A) is fully painted as such.

Re: Interesting Movements 2024

They shouldn’t be rolling anything out for Virgin after their shift in loyalty. With decisions like that, it’s no surprise this airline has had only a few profitable quarters in its history. If that's the case (and I don't dispute it), why don't they just get back to GLA? One of life's big mysterie...

Re: Could United be returning??

It’s not all rosy down the other side of the motorway though. JetBlue loads sub 30% since launching, according to our own GeorgeNTravels over on X. In the interests of balance, it's worth noting that JFK>EDI seat maps look pretty full for the latter half of next week (and looks to be sold out compl...

Re: wizz air are back!!

Hopefully VS following after their deal .. Exactly my thoughts. It’s a stick on hopefully, or they might want to start back at GLA sooner and fly both Scottish routes in tandem until the current deal runs its course. No idea if they’d have a minimum service agreement that ties them to certain minim...

Re: CAA July 23 stats

Perhaps more relevant is next year sees the start of A330Neo(A339) deliveries and also the A359 should join the fleet. Those would allow a 2nd service to operate with something smaller than the B77W, although exact configuration for the new Airbuses has not yet been released. Worth noting that July...
