Re: Jet2 Winter 2025 as of 21st August 2024
That is a very interesting schedule for me. And, with the exception of KRW I will use these flights as often as I can. Unless of course Jet2 charge an arm and a leg which would make them unattactive.

Re: Your flights 2024
Well, I'm just about to kick off 2025 with a LCA- VIE today.
On checking back in my log, I see that I did total of 73 flights in 2024. That 's a bit of a record for me, anyway we will see how the new year pans out. I have got a few trips already in the works.

Re: 50th anniversary 1974/2024
Great post Atuk, and Happy Memories.
I agree with you on Aircraft names. My first was also on a BCal 1-11, Gla-Lgw, Royal Burgh of Nairn, and back on Royal Burgh of Dumfermline. That was back in 1976!

Re: Bye Bye FI 753
The B. 757 was always a favourite of mine too. It is an elegant machine with its high undercarriage. It also does not have that old-look nose of the B707; B727; B737 types, so it's a bit more stylish. I have flown the B757 regularly, but never with Icelandair. I had only had one flight on the stretc...

Country Codes
Just flew back from Larnaca, via BUD on Wizzair. The stopover flight was cheaper than the direct Easyjet flight, ( but not when you include my overnight hotel, but I got to go shopping for some Salami ! ), and it also got me back at a sensible time as opposed to the EZ landing at 03:00am. Anyway, we...
