The problem here is that when an airline is at GLA only and want/need to expand capacity and frequency, they tend to start an EDI service. When an airline is at EDI only and they want/need to expand, they add a 2nd (or 3rd or 4th!) daily service at EDI. Iirc Gordon Dewar openly stated in a interview...

Tbh I'd do anything to avoid an overnight flight, as I virtually never sleep on them - I guess I'm an exception!

Another good addition.
Iirc a couple of citylink services to Ft William already call at GLA, but I think they're both timed close together in the middle of the day.
Amazing what a change in management/ownership can do. Hopefully they can attract more air routes to go with the bus ones!

If it's stops it's their own fault, the timings on many flights lately are atrocious. Arrivals at 0245 surely kill much of the flight's appeal, especially for city breaks. Meanwhile FR at EDI have vastly better flight times.
