I see Etihad have launched their new A321LR which includes a couple of F seats. It looks very nice for a narrowbody. The status quo will remain until we have a vibrant Ryanair base. Bosses now appreciate that. Tbh, I'd be surprised if their predecessors didn't appreciate that too - they just didn't seem to be to able (or willing?) to do the deal.
