Re: Jobs galore at AGS

Oh my word. An individual who toed the line and supported dictator Sturgeon and her attempts to destroy the aviation sector during the pandemic. The individual is no supporter of the aviation sector.

Re: Visit Scotland refuse FOI request regarding airline engagement

The perception of unfair is very understandable. However, any body or company or organisation tasked with promoting a sector of the economy, business or the country more generally will always target the city or location or business which offers the highest potential return on the investment. Edinbur...

Re: Global Airlines JFK

This smacks of an airline desperate for some income stream. Any cash to keep them going for a period. Yes they have to test out the product. However, their well known plan is to serve the US from London. Not a regional airport like Glasgow. Not easy obtaining slots at LHR. Gatwick could be an option...

Re: International Pier - Airbridges

Sounds like EK are a little unreasonable tbh. GLA spent millions to accommodate 1 EK flight per day and their response is to be piqued and say it's not enough. Meanwhile they've happily gone into EDI, who don't have the facilities they're demanding at GLA and have made zero of that expenditure to a...

Re: International Pier - Airbridges

Rather than focussing about what happened previously, wouldn’t it be more worthwhile for GLA management to do whatever is needed to secure the existing daily service moving forward? It’s no secret that EDI is actively trying to persuade EK to expand and compete equally in relation to frequency with ...

Re: EDI: dissatisfied customer feedback on latest Facebook post

I highly doubt airlines or EDI will be particularly alarmed at around 150-200 negative comments. 200 out of 15m+ pax. Little bit of context here. How many of those who posted have actually travelled through the airport recently? The most compelling reason for an airline choosing an airport to serve ...

Re: CAA TRAFFIC STATISTICS - NOV 2024

Does anyone know what that equates to load factor wise? I think it depends on the aircraft type that operated. I believe it operated with a B772LR Two versions exist with a two or three class config. Based on the three class, the LF would be around 74%. If it was a two class it would be about 64%. ...

Re: CAA TRAFFIC STATISTICS - NOV 2024

Approx 13k more pax per week compared to Nov’23. Certainly an improvement. Not sure which services contributed towards the increase?
