Re: Have I missed something?
There’ve been a few articles like that in different papers recently. Seems Lingus is sending out press releases that you can now fly from Airport XYZ to the US and not mentioning it’s via Dublin and newspapers are just running with it as it generates clicks for them.

Re: PIK
Did Hong Kong Cargo operate any additional flights after the “inaugural” flight?

Re: 'Comprehensive Transformation' of terminal
Excellent, thanks for sharing Ian. Honestly, this man is music to my ears! He's acknowledging that Glasgow is Scotland’s biggest city, that its airport was once the country's busiest, and that far too many Glasgow passengers are now being lost to the second city’s airport. I’m looking forward to se...

Re: 'Comprehensive Transformation' of terminal
I connected thru CDG (via AMS) to HKG with AF last year. Didn’t get to see much of the main long haul terminal as inbound flight from AMS was delayed and they were already boarding when we landed - had to do a mad sprint between terminals, well under min connect time to make the flight, but the long...

It can be used for parking and taxiing however Yes - and it can’t be reinstated for commercial ops due to the hangars. However do the CAA runway requirements for light aircraft allow the northern section of th...

Re: GLA ranked ranked better for delays than EDI
A few big delays for a based aircraft over the summer, combined with the usual slot restrictions and weather delays and your punctuality takes a big hit.

Old short runway
Anyone know if: A) what remains of the old short on the north side is long enough to accept the light aircraft based at the airport? B) Capable of being put into use as a runway for light aircraft only when not being used to park biz jets? C) the section of short between the main runway and Gama is ...
