First impressions for me

I am not sure what the target audience is for many of the later departure timings from Aberdeen to enable to interact with any flights from GLA unless it’s an overnight at the airport before a next day flight

TBH, I think these would be vehicles that would otherwise be travelling empty between Buchanan Street and McGill's depots in Johnstone and Inchinnan at the start and end of the vehicles' schedules. So rather than run them empty they've routed them via GLA to start or end their journeys. If they were serious about serving the GLA market then there wouldn't be an eight hour gap between their 0840 and 1640 departures for example.

Tbh it wouldn't take that much change to make the schedule significantly better - 1 or maybe 2 extra services departing Aberdeen between about 0700 and 0900 and then turning round to depart back early afternoon (to provide access to lunchtime and mid afternoon International deps) - plus a departure from GLA around 0300 or 0400 to catch all the bucket and spade arrivals after midnight.

Useful way of getting to Noway and CPH flying from ABZ tbf. The opposite direction doesnt really offer much, unless you stay overnight at GLA

Im sorry, having looked at this and the schedule, theory, its utter drivel.
Taking a bus from Aberdeen, missing most of the available flights, needing to pay £100 a head on overnight if that's your plan..
Take the car and park it. Cheaper and easier.

Yes, just overlay the Jet2 schedules - only the 2330 0320 from Aberdeen connects with the first wave outbounds and the 1640 2035 from GLA connects with the first wave inbounds

They’ll be wishing they hadn’t bothered, if they’re still reading this forum…

No doubt it's a significant advance and way better than nothing, but surely you have to admit the schedule isn't that great?

Imo that's somewhat frustrating, because all too often when we see positive developments at GLA they're not well implemented or thought out which sometimes results in them being unsuccessful. This seems potentially like an example of that.

Hopefully the schedule will develop and we can see an improved schedule and even more routes.

Interestingly, afaik its not been added to GLA's website and they haven't mentioned this in a press release and haven't tweeted about it.
