Another demonstration of the absolute idiocy of EK. Well done to all involved.

EK EDI seems to be taking pax from both GLA and NCL to be fair, GLA at -19% though is a shocker. Will they be tempted to go double daily in the east?

We'll be back to a single daily T7 before long with current load factors of 71%. EDI will soon be, in my opinion, double daily on the A350 and our lovely,(expensive) A380 airbridges will be left to rot, along with the rest of them. EK have always played us for mugs and we fell hook, line and sinker. A tragic vanity project gone so very wrong. To quote the great John Lydon of PIL, " I could be wrong, I could be right".

I think what we are starting to see are the effects of a finite market. Competition is rife going east with EK, QR and TK all serving Scotland directly, it's a market where seats are outstripping demand. That being said, that is a bit of a shocker from EK. let's hope with the summer months now upon us that we see an improvement.
