Scotsman: GLA may close in future
Scotsman: GLA may close in future
I see the Scotsman has an article from a railway engineer that expects GLA to close and EDI/GLA East/Turnhouse/Whatever else it gets called in here to prosper. Not linking it here as its full of bollocks, just a heads up to anyone that wants a laugh
Re: Scotsman: GLA may close in future
Rather than posting the link and giving their site hits, can someone do a copy & paste? Could do with a laugh.
Re: Scotsman: GLA may close in future
On my phone at the moment, but it appears to be a small renark has been turned into a mountain by the Scotsman aka Englishman.. Will give you a right laugh though. The only bit that is correct is that EDI is better located IMO

What a f*****g moron. Shame on Dalton for even entertaining publishing that load of bollocks.
Re: Scotsman: GLA may close in future
I'm getting on a bit now and my memory is terrible. If I ever forget why I've not bought a newspaper in nigh on 40 years, that piece will be sure to remind me. Not much longer till they're all history and for someone to even entertain the thought of publishing that nonsense, deary me.

Thanks ADIG.
Re: Scotsman: GLA may close in future
I've always found The Scotsman to be a rather second-rate newspaper with a clear bias against Glasgow. Much like Edinburgh, it has a knack for pretending to be something it's not. One thing’s certain: if they keep publishing drivel like this, The Scotsman will go under long before Glasgow Airport ever does.

High-speed railways could erode need for Glasgow Airport in the future, rail expert says

Re: Scotsman: GLA may close in future
Certainly not helpful with GLA trying to secure new routes and services
