Not too bad for GLA.
Crazy that airports like MME, EXE and CWL have significant delays even though they only have a handful of flights a day!

Likely due to being understaffed which I think is likely the biggest cause of delays at smaller airports.
A few big delays for a based aircraft over the summer, combined with the usual slot restrictions and weather delays and your punctuality takes a big hit.
It’s frankly ridiculous that a small and relatively insignificant airport like EDI could possibly be performing worse for delays than Heathrow, the UK's and Europe’s busiest airport and a major global hub. How can a regional airport, with a fraction of the traffic and complexity, have more operational issues than a site managing hundreds of thousands of flights a year? It's understandable for airports like EXT and CWL, which only handle a few flights a day, to face staffing challenges, but for EDI, it's a different story. It speaks volumes about EDI’s facilities, management and more. The infrastructure is clearly not fit for purpose. Tiny Town terminal is a shambles and an embarrassment to Scotland.
Perhaps instead of constantly trying to poach every bit of business from Scotland’s best airport, they should focus on actually serving what they already have, and getting that right first.
C'mon AviAlliance, this shower is there for the taking. Restore natural order!
Crikes.. With double the volume in the East, goodness knows where you would place Glasgow in the scheme of things.
We all want improvements at Glasgow, but, sticking pins in the biggest competitor aint gonna make them go away.
We all need to see what this new mob come up with over next 9/10 months, and see if they make inroads to the central Scotland catchment area.
Using Edi as a dartboard wont increase numbers here.

You're right, I’m just fed up with having to fly to EDI more often than GLA, even though Glasgow is my actual destination. It happens far too often and something needs to change. The current market share doesn’t reflect real demand, not even close. It’s completely understandable that people living in Scotland’s largest city are frustrated at having to subsidise the route network of our second city, and it’s coming at our own expense.
