Balkan Holidays closed to UK business

We regret to inform you that Balkan Holidays Ltd
has as of 24th of April 2025, closed for business in the UK. Clients currently on holiday will be unaffected.

The company has not gone into liquidation, however all forward holiday bookings have been cancelled. All clients will be notified and refunded in full. May we kindly ask for patience as we process the refunds and appreciate your understanding.

Thank you for your past business and please accept our most sincere apologies for the disappointment and inconvenience.

If you booked through a travel agent, please contact them for your refund.
All travel agents can email: refundagents@balkanholidays.co.uk

We will work as fast as we can and will prioritise refunds in departure date order.

A shame to see another business go, but the writing was on the wall when Jet2 entered their core market, Bulgaria. Their outdated business model just isn’t relevant in today’s market.

And to be fair BH Air hadn't operated their own flights for years

Well it’s sad for those folks who have booked and hope they get rebooked quickly.

Balkan Holidays has gone the way of Black Sea Holidays and my two abiding memories of them are the day a passenger ripped my face off and my colleague said “Dinnae worry aboot it, we ca this the giro flight! The other the day an A330 pitched up without pre notice. Cue stand change, multiple seat changes and delayed departure!
