Same. Fifteen years ago, Dubai was genuinely classy and sophisticated, attracting professionals and well-heeled travellers. Now, tbh, it's trashy and tacky. Sophisticated travellers are going elsewhere while the Ibiza crowd flocks to Dubai. Think Mercedes-Benz on finance parked outside a council house, Turkey teeth, and live, love, laugh on the living room wall, you get the idea. I suppose the timing was right for EDI to finally get flights there, after all.

Yes that’s exactly my vision of Dubai. Wealthy w@nkers from the Home Counties acting like they’re something special. My sister lived in Bahrain for 9 years and had to renew her visa often which meant leaving the country and returning so sometimes Dubai it was. One of those entitled Flash Harry’s thought he was god’s gift and was most upset when he wasn’t getting his way. Can’t stand people like that.
