Corona virus and its effects on GLA
Re: Corona virus and its effects on GLA
My mistake, my flight is actually Friday 30th to Monday 2nd. I was looking on the net to see if the paper certificate gives any issues. It only took 2 days to get my paper certificate sent to me.

Good advice.cammyboy wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 9:15 amJust in case anyone is thinking of travelling soon, the only officially recognised way of showing vaccination status at the moment is a paper copy which you request online but is mailed to you on NHS headed paper. It will come in the same blue envelope as your vaccine appointment. See https://www.nhsinform.scot/covid-19-vac ... ion-status for more information.
Also plan ahead as it's currently taking around 4-7 days to get your letter as more people start to travel and use the service.
Don't try to use a print out of the website as this isn't officially recognised and you may be refused carriage/entry, but an online version should be coming soon.
I have just applied to get mine sent to me.

As far as the US goes no time soon was the word on Monday - and the decision yesterday to reimpose mask mandates will not help either. Unfortunately while certain states continue with their stupidity this will take longer than it should. The good(ish) news is that the US decisions are based on CDC numbers which are not quite real time. New infections have started to level off if not decline, hospitalizations have dropped and vaccinations are on the rise. But then Texas and Florida will continue to wreak havoc on the progress.

Happily this is a devolved issue and our own government takes advice from sources independent of any other country. That’s why we’ve had a more cautious approach and better outcome.

Like sheep we follow … She never takes the initiative, she waits for big brothers decision, she pauses just to be different, then she follows… Same old, same old tale. I’m over the moon, that the ridiculous test, test, testing is over as I recently experienced the cost and interruption of it all, but Nicole & Co. make your own decisions, stop being in their slipstream.Clive wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 5:26 pmMore than just Engerland, I’m sure.hads wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 2:18 pmIts absolutely amazing.Clive wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 2:06 pm https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-58681116
